Irvine-startup Kibsi, which has built a no-code computer vision platform that allows businesses to develop and deploy computer vision applications, has raised $9.3m in pre-seed and seed funding from investors including GTMfund, NTTVC, Preface Ventures, Ridge Ventures, Secure Octane and Wipro Ventures. Kibsi’s IoT and software platform lets businesses utilise their existing cameras to track and analyse usage and is “quickly enabling users to gain real business value from this data,” according to CEO Tolga Tarhan. Owens Corning, Whisker and Woodland Park Zoo are among the outfit’s clients. A trial version of the platform is available for developers, with a developer plan starting at $99/month.
