The HEXWAVE system utilizes advanced technologies such as millimeter wave, 3D imaging, and AI to screen for concealed weapons and threats, both metallic and non-metallic. This partnership aims to enhance security measures and counter potential insider threats in the airport environment.
K2 Security Screening Group boasts extensive experience in the planning, management, installation, and integration of security screening systems for both passengers and checked baggage at airports across the United States. With successful projects completed at 92% of Transportation Security Administration (TSA)-regulated airports in the country, including major hubs like Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, LaGuardia, and Los Angeles International, K2 has established itself as a trusted leader in airport security.
Under the terms of the agreement, K2 will incorporate the HEXWAVE walkthrough people screening system into its portfolio of security services.
