Chinese e-commerce giant JD is set to unveil a new chatbot service, ChatJD, at the JD Cloud Summit on July 13th. JD’s CEO, Sandy Xu, is expected to attend and give the opening remarks. The company’s vice president, He Xiaodong, has previously confirmed that ChatJD is an industrial alternative to the popular natural language processing model, ChatGPT, with a specific focus on retail and finance. While JD’s competitors, Baidu and Alibaba, have introduced their versions of ChatGPT-like services, they are still not available for public use.
