iQOO Neo 9 Pro Set to Wow India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chipset

Date:

iQOO, the popular smartphone brand, is set to release its latest offering, the Neo 9 Pro, in the Indian market on February 22. Exciting details about the pre-order process have been revealed, creating a buzz among tech enthusiasts. The pre-orders will commence on February 8 through Amazon India and the official website of iQOO, with customers required to pay a refundable fee of Rs 1,000. However, it is worth noting that pre-bookings will be subject to stock availability, as they will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Amazon has already shared some key specifications for the iQOO Neo 9 Pro, further adding to the anticipation surrounding the device. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a popular choice among flagship smartphones in 2023. This chipset was also recently utilized in the newly launched OnePlus 12R, which carries a price tag of Rs 39,999 in the Indian market.

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro will be available in two variants. The device’s design is visually appealing, featuring a leather finish back panel with a dual-tone appearance, as hinted in the teasers. In terms of camera capabilities, the rear setup will include a 50-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX920 sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter. Notably, the inclusion of a macro camera, present in the previous Neo 7 Pro version, has been omitted from this model, although it is unlikely to significantly impact the overall user experience.

Powering the device is a robust 5,160mAh battery, which is expected to support 120W fast charging technology. This will enable users to quickly charge their smartphones, ensuring they spend less time tethered to a power source.

Considering that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro was launched last year with a starting price of Rs 34,999, industry insiders anticipate that the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 Pro will be priced around Rs 40,000. Reports suggest that iQOO aims to position this new handset favorably against the OnePlus 12R, which occupies the sub Rs 40,000 segment.

As the release date of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro approaches, smartphone enthusiasts eagerly await its arrival. With its impressive specifications, aesthetically pleasing design, and competitive pricing strategy, iQOO aims to make a mark in the highly competitive Indian smartphone market. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting new device.
