Pathlight, a California-based company providing enterprises with an intelligence platform to analyze and optimize team performance, has announced an AI manager to help companies give their employees automated “in-the-moment” feedback and coaching. The state-of-the-art intelligence solution leverages large language models (LLMs) and performance data points to give employees nudges, and managers timely alerts to drive better outcomes.
Armed with this generative AI technology, Pathlight aims to improve enterprise workflow and team performance. The AI manager is designed to be a conversational chatbot, integrated with the core Pathlight platform. It interacts with performance metrics, from customer conversations to email, KPIs, and goals, aiding employees better understand why customer calls didn’t go well, or even giving appreciation when performances check all the boxes.
Alex Kvamme, CEO of Pathlight, said “We already sit on a massive trove of performance data. With the use of large language models, we can now deliver a more comprehensive – and automated – way of giving employees in-the-moment feedback and coaching”. He added that ‘the platform is analyzing millions of data points every day’.
The AI Manager puts its function as a natural extension of the Pathlight team. It looks for its purpose in aiding both managers and employees, enabling employers to identify on-the-spot training needs and directing mentoring efforts, as well as providing employees with insight as to how to better handle customer calls.
Pathlight’s AI Manager is currently in closed beta, however, it will be made available more broadly in the coming months. The California-based team is also already experimenting with other generative AI use cases, though the exact plans are yet to be announced.
