Launched in November by the U.S.-based OpenAI, ChatGPT has also inspired clones created by Chinese tech giants Alibaba and Baidu. Murthy praised the chatbot, saying it is a very useful addition to knowledge generation. He also highlighted its promising potentials, such as its capability to write and craft impressive essays.

Infosys is a giant Indian Information Technology services company founded in 1981. Initially called Softronics and Infosys Consulting, the name was changed to Infosys in 1983.
