Our rural internet users (USD 340 million), outnumber urban users (USD 290 million). IMF has forecast 15 per cent of global growth this year would come from India.”

The Indian Ambassador Taranjet Singh Sandhu is a seasoned diplomat, having previously served his country as India’s High Commissioner to Canada and as Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. He is a graduate of the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and went on to study international law at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Sandhu has been a key partner in strengthening the Indo-US relationship and is currently appreciative of the strong bonds between India and the United States.
