Indian startup Wellnesys Technologies Private Ltd, incubated at IIT Mandi, has introduced a groundbreaking AI-enabled Yoga mat known as ‘YogiFy.’ The innovative mat, presented to several Union Ministers, including External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, has the potential to transform at-home yoga practice.
Equipped with AI and Computer Vision (CV) technologies, YogiFi Smart Mat features a sensor layer that monitors yoga postures in real-time. It offers personalized coaching by providing feedback on posture corrections, enhancing the overall yoga experience.
Developed as part of the NM-ICPS program of DST, the fully indigenous ‘Make in India’ mat simplifies yogasana training, offers interactive yoga classes, real-time posture feedback, and personalized coaching worldwide. YogiFi Smart Mat seamlessly integrates with other smart devices at home, creating the ideal ambiance for yoga practice.
