HP has just unveiled its new gaming lineup, showcasing top-of-the-line products aimed at gamers and creatives. In a press release, the company introduced the OMEN Transcend 14 Gaming Laptop, Alloy Rise Keyboard, and OMEN Transcend 32 Gaming Monitor, all designed specifically for gaming and creative work.
The OMEN Transcend 14 Gaming Laptop is a lightweight machine weighing around 3.5 pounds. It boasts an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and provides options for up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070. With the addition of a neural processing unit (NPU), HP promises smoother streaming and gameplay, with a 24.6% increase in Frames Per Second (FPS) and 20% longer battery life in ECO mode. The laptop also features onboard AI, offering features like live transcription, real-time captions, and AI-generated notes, making it a handy tool for students.
In addition to the gaming laptop, HP has also updated the processors in its OMEN Transcend 16.1 and Victus 16.1 laptops with the Intel Core i7 HX processors. To enhance the gaming experience further, the company has announced a range of accessories and peripherals. These include the HyperX Cloud III Wireless Headset, HyperX Cloud Mini Headsets, HyperX Clutch Tanto Mini Wired Controller, and HyperX Alloy Rise Keyboard with pre-lubed HyperX Linear Switches and pre-installed HyperX PBT Keycaps. The keyboard also offers an enhanced RGB light sensor for automatic brightness adjustments and the ability to have 10 keyboard profiles.
Completing the lineup are the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Mini compact gaming mouse, KyperX Knight and Delta Gaming Backpacks, and the new OMEN Transcend 32 UHD 240 Hz OLED Gaming Monitor. This monitor utilizes QD-OLED Panel Technology, delivering an impressive contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 across its 4K UHD, 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.3 ms response time panel. It is also the first OMEN display to be certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, providing an incredible dynamic range and improved rise time compared to DisplayHDR 1000.
HP has announced that the OMEN Transcend 14 will be available for pre-order starting January 8, with a price tag of $1,500. The upgraded Transcend 16 laptops will be available from January 10, starting at $1200, while the Victus 16.1-inch gaming laptop is set to arrive in February. As for the accessories and peripherals, apart from the OMEN Transcend 32 Gaming Monitor, they will be available in Spring 2024, with prices varying depending on the product.
