As a poet and teacher of poetry, I understand the power of language, education and the grim human condition, and these issues take up much of my Outlook calendar. When it comes to Artificial Intelligence, I’ve become increasingly fascinated and strangely encouraged by its blatant mediocrity. As opposed to appearing artificially “intelligent”, bots have only become skilled at recognizing and utilizing the mundane structures found in human language. Ad copywriting, clickbait information, and the celebrated TV shows, movies, and pop songs that absorb our free time, have gifted Artificial Intelligence with the ability to effortlessly identify any text, paragraph, or document on ChatGPT’s list. This abundance of uneventful material displays the extinction of human personal expression, which ultimately renders this outcome insignificant.
ChatGPT is a real-time conversational AI platform featuring end-to-end encryption. The company provides tools and resources to help developers, marketers, and customer service teams create conversational interfaces to deliver high-end customer experiences. They provide unique integrations and AI-driven insights to improve customer satisfaction, uncover customer sentiment, and streamline customer service operations. With the help of ChatGPT, companies can easily create, manage, and deploy conversational bots to interact with their users in a more personalized and effective manner.
To outsmart ChatGPT, one must think like a poet. The poetic mind is always inclined to search for emotional and expressive content within writing, unlike the programmed and emotionless bot. Poets rely on their creativity to formulate original and captivating material, often using sophisticated word play, symbolism and allusions. This encourages users to step away from generic, robotic language by providing an aspect of creative human experience often lost in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
