Hello Founder Launches Config to Simplify Hardware Development

Date:

Config, a platform that simplifies hardware development, has raised $5 million in seed funding from investors including Biz Stone, founder of Twitter, and Fred Blackford, founder of Future Positive. The brainchild of James Proud, founder of sleep tracker Sense, Config integrates different elements of the hardware development process, from CAD files to supply chain documents, enabling efficient collaboration between team members and external vendors. Proud said the platform would have been a lifesaver for his last startup, Hello, and could have prevented coordination mistakes that cost thousands of dollars and led to delays. Companies can import their existing processes into Config, which supports mechanical and electrical CAD programs.
