This will afford NGOs greater time to appeals against the package’s disclosure of third-country funding rules which they fear could make them vulnerable to EU leaders with autocratic tendencies. Meanwhile, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman appears largely to be handling the company’s public affairs and lobbying himself, while the company limits lobbying and access to its technology. Uber, on the other hand, is seeking to collaborate with trade unions and is hiring a new executive to manage labour relations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
