Grammarly recently released its new AI tool, GrammarlyGo, into beta. Developed using Generative AI technology, it offers improved capabilities and understanding of contextual, organizational, and situational context to assist in crafting better messages. This feature can be helpful while writing emails, social media posts, and other long-form communication.
Rahul Roy-Chowdhury, Grammarly’s Global Head of Product, wrote in a blog post how miscommunication can negatively affect businesses and cost them up to $1.2 trillion annually. GrammarlyGo gives users prompts to simplify, shorten, and adjust the tone of messages for different scenarios with just one click. It can also help with brainstorming and generating outlines, resolving writer’s block, and other related tasks.
Grammarly isn’t the only one to use AI-based technology amid the recent popularity of OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Other tech companies, such as Microsoft, Google, and Snapchat, have also released their respective AI tools that are capable of providing assistance when searching, creating, and composing messages and content.
GrammarlyGo is available in beta in Grammarly’s products, such as Grammarly Premium, Business, Education, and Developer, as well as Grammarly for Chrome and Mac. Windows users can look forward to accessing the tool soon.
An important force behind GrammarlyGo is its CEO, Rahul Roy-Chowdhury, who understands the importance of communication in the workplace. He is committed to advancing the AI-based tool’s vision of comprehensive support, from conception to comprehension. His efforts have been praised by the industry, bringing the company and its technology to new heights.
