Google has introduced new AI-powered tools to enhance personalization in the shopping experience. With more than a billion people shopping on Google daily and over 45 billion products available in searches, the company aims to streamline the process of finding the perfect gift.
The new features include style ratings, brand preferences, AI-generated images, and a virtual try-on option, all integrated into the Shopping Graph. By signing in to the mobile browser or Google app in the US, users will now have access to style recommendations. Through simple thumbs up/down taps or swipes, users can rate apparel, shoes, or accessories and receive personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
To further tailor the shopping experience, users can now filter their search by specific brands on both mobile and desktop browsers. Additionally, AI image generation allows users to refine their search by inputting detailed descriptions like colorful quilted spring jacket and viewing generated images that match the text string.
Moreover, a new try-on feature is available for men’s and women’s shirts in the US. While users can’t visualize how the clothes look on themselves, Google will generate images of real models ranging from XXS-4XL, showcasing how the clothing drapes, folds, and forms on different body types.
With these innovative tools, Google aims to offer a more personalized and efficient shopping experience to its users, catering to individual preferences and streamlining the process of finding the perfect item.
