Google No Longer Requires Waitlist for its ChatGPT Tool Called Bard

Date:

Google recently announced major updates for its Bard AI platform, a collaboration tool that enables users to work alongside generative AI. The news was released at Google I/O 2023, with the company confirming that Bard is now available for users from more than 180 countries and in two additional languages, Japanese, and Korean. On the Google blog, it was also revealed that the AI-powered platform will take on a more visual experience, now allowing users to upload images and text when they ask a question.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT is Bard’s main competitor, and it can now be used without having to join a waitlist, making it available to more people than ever before. Google is even planning to expand access to many more languages and countries on the AI platform in the future.

With this new update, users will be able to do more – example, they can ask Bard to write funny captions for a picture of their two dogs by uploading the images, and Google’s AI tool will “analyze the photo, detect the dogs’ breeds, and draft a few creative captions — all within seconds.”

In addition, Bard is a great tool for coding, now more than ever its users can access source citations, dark theme, and an “export” button that allow them to run and edit code from other software in seconds. Moreover, the platform can now draft emails and documents and export them directly to Gmail and Docs, making the whole experience even smoother.

Now, not only does Bard include the new visual elements and lots of functionalities, but it can also link with different apps and services. For instance, users can quickly transform an idea into an image that fits their purpose with Adobe Firefly.

With the updates to their Bard platform, the company is unlocking new possibilities for everyone to collaborate easily and efficiently using AI techniques. The potential for Bard is immense, and it is only the beginning of what this AI tool is capable of.
