Google Cloud and Salesforce Partner Up to Strengthen AI Offerings

Date:

Google Cloud and Salesforce have formed a strategic partnership aimed at enabling companies to leverage data and artificial intelligence (AI) through custom machine learning models that anticipate customer needs. To make AI more democratic, customers can choose the platform they prefer, which could encourage their use of AI models in the decision-making process. With the partnership, Google Cloud marks its data analytics and AI front and center, which could be significant considering Salesforce’s user base of over 150,000 organizations. Pilot testing for the Data Cloud and Google Vertex AI partnership will begin in July 2023 and be generally available in October 2023, while the Data Cloud and BigQuery union will enter pilot testing in October 2023 and be generally available in February 2024.
