Gmail’s AI-powered features help prioritize important emails for faster access

Date:

Google’s Gmail is set to get a boost of artificial intelligence (AI) that will enhance search results on mobile devices. The AI-powered search function will use machine learning models to help users find the most relevant emails by scanning the search term and relevant factors such as the most recent emails. The search results will be presented at the top of the list followed by all the results sorted by recency. Previously, AI features such as Smart Reply helped users compose short automated replies. The new feature is available on Gmail apps for Android and iOS. Articles using this and other AI features are becoming increasingly popular as emerging technology is used to attract consumers. However, relying on algorithms can sometimes mean cheaper options that don’t result in the best quality experience.
