Gmail ChatGPT Writing Assistant Now Available on Android

Google has unveiled a writing assistant feature for its Gmail app on Android, similar to ChatGPT, during its I/O conference last month. The feature, called Help me write, generates emails based on prompts given by the user, drafting paragraphs of text based on their instructions. The feature was initially released for the web as part of a limited preview and is now being rolled out to Gmail for Android. To access the feature, users must join Google’s Workspace Labs program, and the feature can still take some time to roll out. The generated text includes a disclaimer stating that it is a creative writing aid and is not intended to be factual. While the feature can be helpful for a quick start to an email, it is advised to edit the text for any flaws before sending.
