Omar Sultan Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Application, emphasized that Gitex is a global event where the brightest minds come together to shape the future of technologies. He highlighted the importance of secure borders and the UAE’s leadership in technology.
Over 50 countries will be represented at the exhibition, with unicorns from around the world showcasing technologies that will shape the future. Al Olama expressed his hope that the UAE will provide a platform for these companies to become decacorns, valued at $10 billion or more.

Trixie LohMirmand, the executive vice-president of the Dubai World Trade Centre, noted that the exhibition has grown by 40% in terms of space, accommodating the increased number of exhibitors. The show will feature over 6,000 firms and expects to have over 180,000 attendees from more than 80 countries.
With 1,500 speakers from over 100 countries, Gitex will offer 900 hours of content, focusing on Web 3.0 gaming, digital cities, AI, and cybersecurity. The exhibition reflects the UAE’s commitment to being a global leader in technology and innovation.
