Get More Out of Bing AI With ChatGPT-powered Travel and Cooking Assistance

Date:

Microsoft recently announced some noteworthy upgrades to its ChatGPT-powered Bing AI when it comes to queries on topics such as travel and cooking. For the former, the AI has seen improved accuracy in terms of citations, while those who search for recipes will find more detailed grounding data and citations that direct traffic back to their original sources instead of Bing.com. To prevent Bing AI from prematurely ending conversations, the number of end-of-conversation triggers have been reduced – an ongoing effort by the tech giant.

In addition to the travel and cooking updates, Microsoft has also worked on improving the Bing AI’s understanding of local queries, such as ‘where’s the nearest grocery store?’, and on making it better able to answer difficult math problems as well as responding quickly in terms of news events. The Redmond-based company has further stated that it will continue to monitor user feedback and make necessary changes accordingly.

At the same time, Google’s competitor Bard has also recently been sent some much-needed updates, such as enhanced performance and a wider range of possible responses. Hopefully, Google can use this as a starting point to make the AI even more powerful and beneficial to users. All in all, it looks like both Bing and Bard are steadily becoming more sophisticated and we can expect even more improvements in the future.
