Fujitsu Strengthens SAP Consulting in Asia Pacific with Acquisition of Innovation Consulting Services (ICS)
Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Thailand Limited have announced the acquisition of Thailand-based SAP consultancy Innovation Consulting Services (ICS). This acquisition aims to enhance Fujitsu’s capabilities in SAP consulting and managed services across the Asia Pacific region, solidifying the company’s position in the APAC SAP services market.
ICS, founded in 2002, will directly support Fujitsu’s portfolio transformation and contribute to the development of future offerings in Business Applications, one of Fujitsu’s global Uvance portfolio’s seven Key Focus Areas (KFAs). This acquisition will further strengthen Fujitsu’s SAP capabilities in areas such as Sustainable Manufacturing, Consumer Experience, Trusted Society, and Healthy Living.
The acquisition leverages the extensive SAP experience, expertise, and professional track records of both Fujitsu and ICS to enhance competitiveness and strengthen SAP business capabilities in the region. By combining their strengths, the two companies aim to quickly deliver comprehensive SAP offerings to new customers and continue providing existing SAP solutions to current customers.
Graeme Beardsell, CEO of Fujitsu Asia Pacific, expressed his enthusiasm for investing in an ASEAN-based technology company and supporting ICS’s business expansion. With highly skilled SAP consultants in Thailand, Singapore, and other ASEAN countries, ICS will contribute significantly to Fujitsu’s growth strategy and global Key Focus Areas. Beardsell also emphasized the establishment of Fujitsu’s Asia Pacific SAP Community of Skills and the enhancement of their Global Delivery Centers (GDC) in the ASEAN market.
Kanokkamon Laohaburanakit, Managing Director of Fujitsu Thailand, stated that the combined entity of Fujitsu Thailand and ICS will enable them to address their customers’ challenges more efficiently and achieve their goals faster.
Panadda Promwongsak, CEO of ICS, expressed excitement about the acquisition, highlighting the expansion of their end-to-end cloud capability, consulting, and managed services to new markets and geographies.
