Fudan University, a prestigious academic institution in China, is set to revolutionize its curriculum by introducing over 100 artificial intelligence (AI) courses in the upcoming academic year. This pioneering move aims to position Fudan as a leading force in science intelligence education and talent cultivation.
The university’s ambitious project includes a wide range of AI courses, from general classes to specialized programs designed to integrate AI across all disciplines and academic levels. By doing so, Fudan hopes to accelerate AI innovation in various sectors and equip students with essential AI literacy and capabilities.
To support this initiative, Fudan has recruited 64 professors specializing in information technology, big data, and AI to teach these courses. Additionally, the university has established a powerful supercomputer platform in collaboration with Alibaba Cloud and China Telecom to provide students with ample computational resources.
Fudan’s AI course system is structured to cater to students from diverse academic backgrounds, offering courses such as AI-Basic Courses, AI-Essential Courses, AI-Subject Courses, and AI-Thematic Courses.
