He researched online courses and finally picked an AI and Machine Learning course. This course provided him with access to pre-recorded video modules and two-hour live sessions held on weekends in which students could clear their queries. Tests were conducted on the modules every week.
Kumar’s upskilling was instrumental in landing a job at TVS Motors as a data engineer with 100 per cent salary hike. He emphasized on the importance of upskilling in the tech industry to avoid becoming obsolete.
World Economic Forum (WEF) reported that over the next five years, India’s job market is expected to grow by 22 per cent. This growth will be driven by specialists in AI, machine learning, data analysis and scientists.
