Exploring GPT-4 with SentinelOne for Enhanced Threat Hunting

Date:

Autonomous cybersecurity vendor SentinelOne recently launched a new threat hunting platform at the RSA Conference 2023 in San Francisco. This platform is a combination of neural networks and natural language processing, using Language Modeling systems like GPT-4.

Using the SentinelOne platform, security analysts can easily ingest and aggregate data from endpoint, cloud service and network logs. The platform can then be used similarly to an automated assistant – analysts can ask questions in natural language and the platform can generate responses, or even trigger automated response actions.

Tomer Weingarten, CEO of SentinelOne, explains the power of the platform by saying that it “unlock[s] so much productivity that in essence, every security analyst is now 10 times the security analyst.” Weingarten further explains that the platform can detect suspicious activities, automatically remove any destructive files, and block malicious senders in real time – all with little to no intervention from a human analyst.

SentinelOne’s announcement of their threat hunting platform follows releases from other top-tier security companies, such as Microsoft’s Security Copilot AI assistant and Recorded Future’s GPT-driven security solution. Even though these companies are currently engaged in a race towards the top, the market itself is estimated to grow quite substantially by 2028, having a projected worth of more than $50 billion.

SentinelOne is a global leader in Autonomous Cybersecurity and is backed by a prestigious group of investors, led by Blue Oval Ventures, Tiger Global, Insight Partners, Sorenson Capital, Third Point Ventures, and Sunley House Capital Management. Founded in 2013, the company set out on a mission to protect customers from cyber threats with the most advanced AI-powered endpoint technology in the industry. Tomer Weingarten, co-founder and CEO of SentinelOne, leads a strong team of talented people from diverse backgrounds in technology, data sciences and security fields. With an ever-growing team, distributed across the world, SentinelOne takes defensive measures against cyber threats autonomously, relying on the power of cloud intelligence and deep AI.
