If you are looking for cutting-edge presentation tools, then Canva is the answer while you wait for Microsoft Copilot. Canva has a number of new AI features for you to try. With its monthly user base exceeding 110 million, Canva has grown rapidly in a short span of time by quickly launching new features. Magic Write, for instance, is an AI-powered content tool that can even write copy or suggest creative ideas.

Microsoft’s Office Copilot is similar in scope but can soon generate PowerPoint presentations through simple user prompts. And Canva’s Magic Presentations is aiming to do the same. Just type in the prompt, maybe “a marketing deck for RuffRuffFunStuff’s new spring line of dog chews”, and Magic Presentations will incorporate your brand imagery, if you have any, and lay out a presentation with minimal input required. Users can even tweak the presentation if they want to.

Apart from Magic Presentations, Canva has also launched Magic Design that is more in line with Microsoft Designer. With Magic Design, you don’t have to put in much effort; just upload an image or a style and Magic Design will create a presentation for you. In addition, there is an inking tool to turn sketched shapes into an actual designs, and a translation feature to help with international communication.

Cameron Adams, one of the co-founders of Canva, explains the importance of Magic Presentations, “Often, when you’re thinking about giving a presentation, you have an idea of a kind of broader-arching theme that you want to communicate. But getting from that blank page to actually having a presentation structure can often be a bit of a hurdle for people.”

Some of these AI features are free while others you have to pay for in order to access the full range of tools Canva provides. For instance, Magic Write is capped at 25 times in the free tier and 250 times in Canva Pro. The Pro subscription costs $119.99 per year or $12.99 per month.

Canva is a platform that helps you design quickly, easily, and professionally in a matter of clicks. It is an effective cloud-based solution to your presentation needs, and it’s worth taking a look at if you want something versatile and sleek.
