The main duties include curriculum preparation, teaching courses in alignment with the department’s vision, syllabus and accessibility compliance, utilizing Canvas as the primary learning management system, reviewing and grading assignments, holding regular office hours, supporting student learning and professional development, and collaborating with the faculty and staff to promote student success. Additionally, instructors will be expected to craft course learning objectives and assessment activities to maintain accreditation.

It’s worth noting that the faculty coach member in this position may be designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA) and will undergo ongoing review. Designated CSAs are required to report any Clery incidents immediately to the institution and complete Clery Act training, as determined by the University Clery Director.
