ENCO announced its latest foray into AI-based products for broadcasters at NAB Show 2023. Offering two impressive ChatGPT-assisted solutions, AITrack and ENCO-GPT, ENCO is paving the way for a more automated and convenient production workflow.
AITrack is an ENCO solution that integrates with the company’s DAD radio automation system. By leveraging the ChatGPT model, AITrack is able to produce natural-sounding tracks between songs, such as artist and song identifications, introductions of upcoming songs, station IDs and localized community news. Creators have the freedom to adjust the length of automated voice tracks as needed.
ENCO-GPT is designed to streamline production of ads, news and information for TV, radio and streaming options. When given numeric and text-based agreements for media buys, ENCO-GPT quickly generates ad copy using synthetic speech. In addition, ENCO-GPT can condense long news articles into smaller soundbites to fit the production schedule more effectively.
Ken Frommert, President of ENCO, believes broadcasters and visitors alike will be excited to see these AI-based products in action. He discussed how these solutions are ready for rollout, and need only quick integrations to become fully functional. Frommert also looks forward to the potential of ENCO-GPT, touting it as a tool used to transform long-form audio streams into short-form podcasts.
Nab Show visitors will also be able to visit the ENCO booth, where the company has set up a virtual production studio built on Unreal Engine’s Qimera platform. AR graphics will be showcased alongside products from ENCO’s partners such as Benztown, NewsBoss, and StreamGuys, and visitors can explore the Qimera virtual reality universe.
