Elon Musk’s 3 Word Response to OpenAI Fraud Allegation

Date:

Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, Twitter, and SpaceX, was one of the early investors and co-founders of OpenAI, an artificial intelligence (AI) company. On a recent interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News, Musk discussed his opinion on AI and its potential threat on civilian destruction. He was highly critical of OpenAI, mentioning that the company “trained AI to lie”, and goes against the goals he initially set out for OpenAI to be open-source and nonprofit.

Musk also reveals his intentions to launch a new AI venture called “TruthGPT”. It is a machine-learning technology to “understand the nature of the universe”. After journalist Benny Johnson asked if he was considering to sue OpenAI for being fraud, Musk replied with three words: “We shall see”.

OpenAI is run by Microsoft and backed with some of the world’s biggest technology companies such as Alphabet Incorporation (parent company of Google). It has been alleged that Musk broke his promise of donating $1 billion to the OpenAI project, with contributions of only $100 million to the company prior to leaving.

Elon Musk is an innovator, investor and engineer who focuses on renewable energy and government-funded space transportation. Most notably, he is the founder and CEO of Tesla, Inc., and founder of both SpaceX and The Boring Company. He is currently the second-richest person in the world, with a net worth of over $177 billion.

OpenAI is a non-profit artificial intelligence research company specializing in deep learning technologies. OpenAI was co-founded by Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Sam Altman, among other investors, and is now backed by tech giants Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet Inc. OpenAI’s mission is to develop responsible AI that can make intellectual advances beyond what humans are capable of. OpenAI mainly focuses on developing technologies such as natural language processing, robotics, and AI for computer graphics.
