Elon Musk is making headlines once again as he reportedly starts up a new artificial intelligence (AI) project. According to reports from The Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times, the venture is called X.AI Corp. Meanwhile, Nevada business records show that Musk incorporated a company with the same name – X.AI – on March 9. Musk himself is the only director while his ex-Morgan Stanley banker, Jared Birchall, is the company’s secretary. Before long, Musk changed his Twitter username to “X Corp”, likely to promote the upcoming AI venture.
By now, Musk is no stranger in the field of artificial intelligence. Back in 2015, he co-founded and chaired OpenAI – a venture he started with current CEO, Sam Altman. Before that, reports also came out that Musk had assembled a team of AI researchers and engineers.
X.AI Corp is eager to get investors on board and talks have already been held with Musk’s current SpaceX and Tesla investors. As of yet, the exact nature of the company’s AI remains a mystery but one can assume that it will form an impressive tool just like Musk’s previous works.
Besides being a business magnate, investor, and engineer, Elon Musk is now a renowned entrepreneur in the AI field. With previous AI ventures under his belt as well as significant investments, he holds a great future in store for AI lovers and tech enthusiasts. With the help of knowledgeable AI researchers and engineers, Musk may very well create an intricate AI project.
Jared Birchall, Musk’s ex-Morgan Stanley banker, is the company’s secretary in X.AI Corp. He is responsible for managing Musk’s wealth and perhaps has a huge part to play in the investment and recruiting of AI researchers for the venture.
X.AI Corp shows great potential and may be a blueprint for other AI projects and investors. With Musk’s vast knowledge and experience in the world of technology and AI, one can be confident that this venture will be a resounding success. As of now, it remains to be seen what X.AI Corp will develop and offer to the world.
