Elon Musk Aiming to Counter AI ‘Bias’ with TruthGPT Chatbot

Date:

Elon Musk has long been a vocal advocate for the potential of artificial intelligence (AI), and he has firmly established his leadership in the field by fiercely criticizing other tech leaders such as Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates for their “limited” understanding of the topic. In 2015, he became an early investor in OpenAI, the startup behind ChatGPT. Musk co-chaired its board shortly after its launch as a non-profit AI research lab. However, by 2018, Musk had resigned from the board in order to focus on Tesla’s project to develop automated driving systems. OpenAI announced that this move was done in order to avoid creating potential future conflicts for Elon.

Now, Musk has set his sights on a new project, TruthGPT. This project is aimed to counter the alleged AI bias, and to create a more reliable A.I. system. The goal is to create a platform that allows developers to create more accurate A.I. models in a shorter timeframe while using fewer resources. With TruthGPT, developers will be able to access a better-trained estimation dataset to ensure their A.I. models are aligned with truth.

OpenAI is an American artificial intelligence research laboratory founded in 2015. It can be seen as an effort to facilitate access to large-scale artificial intelligence projects. The company has developed several successful projects, including GPT-2, which is an AI language model that can generate paragraphs of text in a human-like manner.

Elon Musk is a South African-born entrepreneur and inventor. He is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Tesla, the electric car manufacturer, and founder of SpaceX, the private space exploration company. Musk has also been credited for his contributions to AI, having invested in and established advisory roles for many different organizations. Musk was an instrumental figure during OpenAI’s launch, providing his expertise and guidance.
