DS Group Unveils Unique Ganesh Idol Using Pulse Candy Flavors at Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal in Mumbai

Mumbai, September 22, 2023 – Leading FMCG conglomerate Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) has recently unveiled a one-of-a-kind Ganesh Idol using the flavors of its popular hard-boiled candy, Pulse. This distinctive idol has been installed at the renowned Lalbaugcha Raja Pandal in Mumbai, adding a novel twist to the traditional Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

To further engage consumers and ignite excitement during the festive season, DS Group has collaborated with distinguished AI artist, Arun Nura, to create a visually stunning video. This AI-powered video, shared across social media platforms, encapsulates the spirit of the Ganesh festival. By incorporating meticulously designed AI-generated art and captivating storytelling, the video takes viewers on a journey through time, explaining the origins and evolution of Ganesh Chaturthi. The narration for the video is provided by popular Indian actor and film director, Shreyas Talpade.

According to Mr. Arvind Kumar, General Manager of DS Foods Limited (Confectionery), We are thrilled to participate in the vibrant and joyous celebrations of Ganesh Mahotsav. This festival embodies the values of togetherness, tradition, and devotion, which perfectly resonate with DS Group’s core principles. Through our association with Lalbaugcha Raja and other pandals in Maharashtra, we aim to strengthen our bond with consumers by celebrating together. We invite everyone to join us in this ‘Pulse-ful’ celebration.

As Maharashtra holds significant importance for DS Group as one of the leading markets for hard-boiled candy, the conglomerate plans to actively engage with its audience during this festival. A unique aspect of the celebration is that after the festivities, the Pulse Candy Ganesh idol will be dismantled in accordance with established norms. As a gesture of spreading joy and happiness, DS Group will distribute fresh stock of Pulse Candy, equivalent to the number of candies used in the construction of the idol, to underprivileged children through NGOs in and around Mumbai.
