Dogs Outsmart AI, Researchers Discover

Experts claim that dogs have higher intelligence than artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Because of this, machines are missing out on understanding the underlying reality of the real world, unlike humans whose learning extends beyond language. According to LeCun, this capacity is what humans should aim to reproduce in AI before achieving dog or cat-level intelligence. This is in contrast to the recent announcement of Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, who said that human-level cognitive abilities could be possible in AI within the next decade.
