Developing ChatGPT Skills for Career Growth

Date:

ChatGPT experience is becoming an increasingly vital job skill as Intelligent’s survey of 1,000 hiring managers indicates: 9 out of 10 employers prefer applicants who are comfortable using ChatGPT. AI literacy is a must for career paths such as sales and real estate.

Eric Lee, co-founder of REIInsiders.com, stated that having experience with ChatGPT provides a “more practical and hands-on understanding of the real estate industry”. Likewise, Chad Price, founder of Life Grows Green, supported the need for applicants to have experience in ChatGPT, saying it is “part of the future of sales and content creation”.

These results suggest the growing demand for ChatGPT experience in the workplace, and it is therefore necessary to learn the basics of the technology. Fortunately, there are various ways to do so, from free online courses to trial and error. Colleges and universities strive to keep up with the AI Revolution, though credentials may not be necessary as “candidates without degrees may be just as or even more qualified” according to career strategist Stacie Haller.

Alex Mastin, CEO and founder of coffee company Homegrounds, is among those who prioritize ChatGPT experience in job candidates. Employing AI chatbots and conversational AI tools, Homegrounds seeks those with experience when it comes to hiring entry-level positions.

Fortunately, a wealth of knowledge is available to those interested in becoming “AI-literate”. Knowing where to look and learning the basics of ChatGPT are both key aspects.
