Designers and Editors Reap Benefits from Canva’s Enhanced Features

Date:

Canva, the popular and widely-used website used to create visuals for marketing, personal projects, and more, has just released a plethora of new features. The Australian-based software company now boasts more than 155 million monthly active users and 15 billion designs that have been created since it launched. This new wave of features is designed to help enterprise, marketing, and creative teams make better use of the platform.

The first new feature is called Magic Design, which makes it easier for users stuck in a creative rut to come up with new ideas. By supplying an image, Magic Design will offer up a selection of templates along with fonts, graphics, and various style choices that users can customize to fit their own distinct tastes.

Canva’s Translate feature allows users to convert text into any of over 100 languages with the push of a button. This feature is great for companies and organizations that need to share their message with a wide audience.

The platform is also adding to its Magic Write AI-powered copywriting assistant, which is now available across the board for all of Canva’s design options, including video. The AI will be able to generate content, expand upon or summarize existing text, and autofill designs.

Photo editing options are also getting a boost with the new Magic Edit and Magic Eraser tools, both of which help with the specific editing of images. Designers will also be able to differentiate between the foreground and the background, giving them more control over the image as a whole.

Finally, new video editing features are being added to Canva, including Beat Sync, which can automatically align video clips to the beat of music, and the ability to create animations easily by dragging element across the screen.
