Seven local startups have been selected to participate in Cyberview’s Living Lab Accelerator (CLLA) Programme, aiming to accelerate their growth and development to commercialize innovative solutions for smart cities. The chosen startups, including MengajiOnline, NexoPrima, MindnRobotics, Solvnex, SmartPeep, Bual Design, and BriqBloq, will focus on technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and robotics.
The five-month programme is designed to help these startups achieve Product-Market-Fit, ensuring they meet market demands. Participants will receive support for research and development, networking opportunities with industry experts, and connections both domestically and internationally through Cyberview.
Shafinaz Salim, head of the Technology Hub Development Division at Cyberview, expressed the organization’s commitment to supporting startups through this program. She highlighted the importance of innovation in areas such as generative AI and robotics, emphasizing the goal of not only testing solutions in Cyberjaya but also expanding into new markets.
Participants in the 2024 cohort will benefit from incentives totaling over US$21,000 (RM100,000) per startup, including rent-free workspace at Colnnov8, business advisory, mentoring, and the opportunity to pitch their solutions at a Demo Day to potential investors and partners.
With a decade-long history of nurturing startups, the CLLA programme has facilitated over 98 startups, attracting investments exceeding US$53.7 million (RM255 million) and generating over US$167 million (RM792 million) in revenue. The program has also created more than 1,400 job opportunities.
Notable alumni of the programme include TheLorry, MoneyMatch, Medkad, MHub, Supagene, Monsta, BillPlz, and Trackerhero. By offering a platform for funding, partnerships, market validation, and commercialization, the CLLA program continues to support startups in harnessing technology and addressing significant challenges in the market.
