Create Your Own Version of GPT-4 Using Dante: A Comprehensive Guide

Date:

Dante, an AI tool, allows users to create their own custom chatbot that specializes in a specific area of interest. The language model used by Dante, called GPT-4, is one of the most capable in the market. Users can train Dante with their own data including PDF files, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and Youtube videos. While a single chatbot can be created for free with Dante, users can access the GPT-4 model by subscribing to at least the $10 per month Entry tier. This subscription gives access to 1,000 monthly credits, 10 knowledge bases, the ability to save conversations, and voice-to-text ability, among others.

The process for creating a chatbot is the same whether using the free or subscription tier. To create a chatbot, users must navigate to the Dante website and select Start building or Try Dante for free. After creating an account or logging in, users can start creating their chatbot by selecting New knowledge base and uploading the data they want to use to train it. Once the training is completed, users can begin chatting with their new chatbot, using the prompt form at the bottom of the screen.

If the chatbot isn’t quite as powerful as desired, or new information needs to be added, it can be retrained by selecting the cog icon next to the knowledge base/chatbot, selecting Add content, and providing Dante with the required data. Users can also customize the chatbot’s personality by adjusting its base prompt.

By following the provided guidelines, users can add value to their audience with a high-quality, conversational article that ranks well in Google search results.
