Conservative ChatGPT-powered AI Bot Shut Down by OpenAI Chancellor

Date:

OpenAI has reportedly forced the shutdown of a conservative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot called GIPPR, which TUSK Browser rolled out using modified version of OpenAI’s ChatGPT services about a month ago. The chatbot offered conservatives answers from a right-wing perspective. ChatGPT’s creator is now being accused by the browser’s makers of curbing their free speech. TUSK has said that OpenAI forced them to sever ties as they allegedly required conformity to their standards for what could be said or not. OpenAI says that TUSK didn’t comply with the policies laid down by the company, especially those related to coordinated inauthentic behavior and deceptive activity that could compromise user safety.
