ConnectWise Unveils AI-Powered Security Solutions at IT Nation Secure Event

Date:

ConnectWise recently rolled out a series of innovative security solutions at their fifth annual security conference, IT Nation Secure, which drew in 1,200 MSPs. Despite the event’s focus on cybersecurity, AI took center stage throughout the presentations.

CEO Jason Magee and Senior Vice President Gregg Lalle kicked off the event by highlighting the growing importance of AI in the technology landscape. Magee emphasized the significant advancements made in AI over the past year, underscoring its disruptive potential.

ConnectWise’s CISO Patrick Beggs and VP of Global Security Sales Jay Ryerse delved into the impact of AI on cybersecurity, noting its dual role as both a tool for innovation and a potential security threat. While Ryerse compared AI to a versatile hammer, Beggs highlighted the company’s proactive approach in using AI for defensive purposes and enforcing ethical guidelines for its utilization.

During the event, ConnectWise unveiled several new security products and features, including:

– Security 360: A comprehensive dashboard offering MSPs a unified view of their cybersecurity landscape and risk factors across various categories.
Sidekick for Security: An AI-powered assistant that provides real-time security assessments and aids technicians in resolving vulnerabilities.
– RPA Expansion: Enhanced robotic process automation capabilities with custom triggers and workflows.
– MDR for Microsoft 365: Expanded security offerings to protect additional Microsoft 365 components.
– MDR Executive Report: A detailed report that helps MSPs showcase their value to clients and demonstrate the effectiveness of their security measures.

ConnectWise is also offering a limited time promotion, providing free access to Security 360 and Sidekick for Security for MSPs who sign up during the event. Additionally, they are offering a 50% discount on MDR for Microsoft 365 until the end of July.
