OpenAI is a revolutionary artificial intelligence firm focused on developing technology to achieve human-level AI. Lori Witzel, director of thought leadership at Tibco, acknowledged the importance of ChatGPT’s accessibility and said that “enabling of API access will enable enterprises to more easily use ChatGPT in their own products and environments.” Along with the availability of GPT-4 in the same ChatGPT user interface, OpenAI is also taking steps to enhance the platform by adding new features such as ChatGPT support for images.
Donncha Carroll, partner at Lotis Blue Consulting and head of their data science center of excellence, stated that “OpenAI and the release of ChatGPT specifically made large language models widely available.” This welcomed accessibility to the public has been revolutionary and opened numerous possibilities for companies that look to customize their service offerings.
