Cloud security firm Zscaler aims to capitalise on generative artificial intelligence (AI) by integrating it within its cloud-native zero trust platform. Zscaler joined a growing number of cybersecurity companies, including CrowdStrike, Google Cloud Security and Microsoft Security Copilot that have incorporated generative AI into their services. The move came as Zscaler launched new products and services at Zenith Live 2023 to expand its growth strategy and boost up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. The company is also keen to assure customers that the platform’s security will not be compromised by the use of generative AI. At Zenith Live, Zscaler responded to concerns raised by customers regarding how to prevent sensitive data from being leaked into public models by suggesting that zero trust principles for AI applications would be vital. Zscaler Risk360, Zscaler Identity Threat Detection and Response and Multi-Modal DLP are among the company’s generative AI products and services.
