Clalit Health Services to Enhance Patient Care with AI and Machine Learning

Date:

Clalit Health Services, Israel’s largest state-mandated health service provider, is collaborating with Cloudera to improve its medical services using artificial intelligence and machine learning. With Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), the health service provider will develop a next-generation data lake that integrates with the existing system and allows for real-time analysis, faster processing times, and faster insight-based decision-making, enabling Clalit to enhance its streaming analytics and handle the increasing volumes of data. By analyzing streams of data from electronic health records, wearable devices, and remote monitoring devices using Cloudera’s Apache NiFi software and CDP, Clalit will improve patient care with enhanced capability to automate the flow of structured and unstructured data between different systems and databases, as well as share and access information more efficiently, resulting in improved patient outcomes.

Cloudera is a hybrid data company that provides a secure data platform for businesses to store, process, and analyze their data at scale.

Liora Shechter is the Vice President of Digital & Technology at Clalit Health Services, responsible for the implementation of digital and technology advancements for the health service provider. With the collaboration between Clalit and Cloudera, Shechter is confident that the real-time interface, artificial intelligence, and machine learning of CDP will further enhance patient care and improve health outcomes.
