The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) has integrated President Xi’s teachings, known as Xi Jinping Thought or Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, into this AI chatbot. Emphasizing Communist Party leadership, Chinese-style socialism, and national revival, the AI model aims to align with China’s societal vision for AI integration.
Named in clear reference to Microsoft’s ChatGPT, this innovative chatbot ensures that all generated content upholds core socialist values and does not challenge state authority. By incorporating approved literature, the CAC endeavors to shape AI technology in alignment with China’s principles and aspirations for the future.
