Chhattisgarh Government to Introduce AI in School Curriculum & Bans Offenders from Government Jobs
In a bid to embrace technological advancements and prioritize the safety of women, the Chhattisgarh Government has taken two significant steps. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel recently announced the inclusion of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in the school curriculum and a ban on offenders from obtaining government jobs.
The government aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to embrace the future of technology by incorporating subjects like AI, ML, and the Internet of Things (IoT) into the school curriculum. Baghel emphasized the role of modern technology in building a progressive society and highlighted the importance of preparing children for the advancements that await them in the digital era.
To further support students’ educational journey, the CM announced that classes 11 and 12 in government schools situated in remote areas of Chhattisgarh will receive free online coaching from renowned institutes across the country. This initiative particularly aims to help students prepare for competitive exams in the fields of medicine and engineering.
In addition to focusing on education, the government has also prioritized the safety and dignity of women. Baghel stated, It is our top priority to ensure the safety of women, their respect, and protect their dignity. In line with this commitment, individuals accused of molesting, harassing, or committing other offenses against women will be barred from securing government jobs. This decision aims to send a strong message to offenders and create a safer environment for women in the state.
The CM also extended his support to construction workers by announcing the launch of the ‘Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Pension Sahayata Yojana,’ which will provide pensions to these workers. This step acknowledges the invaluable contribution of construction workers to society and ensures their welfare and financial security.
Furthermore, the government intends to facilitate convenient transportation for college students by offering free bus pick-up and drop services between their homes and colleges. This initiative aims to address transportation challenges faced by students and enable them to focus on their academic pursuits.
The comprehensive measures announced by the Chhattisgarh Government display a commitment to inclusive development and progress. By prioritizing education, technology, women’s safety, and the welfare of construction workers, the state is paving the way for a brighter and more secure future.
