Chegg Study Buddy, Powered by ChatGPT’s AI – UK Publishing Industry Shows Resilience with Record Breaking Growth, PA Releases ‘A Year in Publishing’ Summary

ChatGPT has recently announced that they are teaming up with Chegg to power the Chegg Study Buddy. This collaboration between the two companies will enable Chegg to offer personalized study recommendations based on ChatGPT’s artificial intelligence (AI). As both educators and learners grapple with the challenges brought on by the pandemic and the need to transition to online learning, this partnership could be instrumental in helping them cope.

The UK’s publishing industry is showing resilience and is experiencing record-breaking growth. According to the latest figures from the Publishers Association (PA), total book sales grew 14.4% in 2020 compared to the previous year. Digital books, in particular, saw an impressive 79.5% rise. To mark the end of the year, the PA released their ‘A Year in Publishing’ summary which recognised their members’ huge efforts to ensure that books are available to everyone regardless of the Covid-19 pandemic.
