Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is expected to evolve further in the coming years, according to Sam Altman, CEO of ChatGPT operator OpenAI. Speaking at Keio University in Tokyo, Altman predicted that large language models would go much further, leading the world to advance as much as it has in the past 500 years. He also said that the impact of AI on education would be significant, with new tools increasing the potential of students. He added that while some jobs may disappear due to technological advances, it would be freeing for people, allowing them to work at a higher and more creative level, and new classes of jobs would emerge over time. ChatGPT is an AI chatbot that responds to user-entered prompts in ordinary language. The technology was released in November 2020 and has already amassed more than 100 million users worldwide.
