OpenAI’s ChatGPT developer will be attending the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai, along with other top tech giants such as Microsoft, NVIDIA, Intel, and Google. As one of the world’s leading AI conferences, WAIC is set to break records and attract more than 1,400 speakers this year, including some first-time speakers.
The conference will address various AI-related topics, such as AI large models, AI for Science, computing capabilities, the metaverse, talent, and much more. The event aims to bring an AI brainstorm to Shanghai and provide a platform for top industry experts to share their tech visions.
Apart from the conference, a 50,000 square meters exhibition space will also be available, featuring over 400 exhibitors showcasing their latest innovations in large models, chips, robots, and smart driving, among other sectors. Text, vision, and other multi-model sectors of AI large models are expected to be a highlight of the event.
The 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference is scheduled to take place from July 6 to 8 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, with sub-conferences also held in Zhangjiang in the Pudong New Area and Xuhui District.
Last year’s event attracted over 1,200 domestic and international guests, more than 250 renowned firms, 1,600 global media, as well as 638 million online and 30,000 offline participants, with 121 events taking place.
