ChatGPT, short for Chatbot Generative Pre-trained Transformer, is an AI assistant that can be used for a variety of tasks. In a recent project, the ChatGPT was used to create a quirky and insightful AI-powered clock. This Raspberry Pi-powered clock was created by blogger Matt Webb and displays a different poem, written by the ChatGPT, every minute of the day.
The clock was programmed to write two-line poems that rhyme, and also to be creative and profound. Through hard work and great care, the clock’s creator was able to get the AI to respond to its environment by mentioning the ‘cozy shelf’ it was sitting on. Webb has plans to release a ‘plug-and-play’ version of the clock and also to create detailed instructions on how it could be made by hand.
