This development is the latest regulatory challenge to OpenAI as lawmakers seek to regulate the AI industry. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has already released a framework for AI regulation, while other senators have expressed concerns about the technology. Despite these discussions, a clear bipartisan consensus on AI legislation has yet to be reached.
