ChatGPT App Now Available in Additional Countries – All You Need to Know

Date:

OpenAI, a software firm created by Microsoft, has increased the availability of its ChatGPT app to eleven different countries, including the US, Albania, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Jamaica, Korea, New Zealand, Nicaragua, and the UK. It was initially launched only for the US market. Along with this, the company launched a new feature called shared links. This feature allows users to create and share conversations that they had on ChatGPT with anyone they want to. Additionally, it also allows someone else to view the conversation or copy it so that they can continue the thread. This feature is currently in alpha phase, but the company plans to extend it to all users, including free users, in the coming weeks.

The app also boasts a deep integration with Bing, through which users can click into the queries that ChatGPT is running. The team is also planning to expand this integration further as the time passes. Users will also be able to disable their chat history on the iOS version, meaning the conversations won’t be stored on the device for more than 30 days or can be used to train the models.

OpenAI has a team of world-class experts across science, engineering, and design who are working on machine learning–related projects. It is led by CEO Sam Altman who previously founded the startup accelerator Y Combinator and CTO Greg Brockman. They have a strong commitment to AI research, safety, and fairness, and the team is enthusiastic about helping developers leverage the latest advances in AI.
