ChatGPT AI Apps Invading iPhones and Android Devices

Date:

Scammers have recently infiltrated popular apps like ChatGPT with artificial intelligence applications aimed at getting people to pay for subscriptions and steal their personal information. As a result of this malicious activity, information from an individual’s financial accounts could be accessed and used to empty their bank account.

ChatGPT does offer premium features to those willing to pay for the service, however the service is free of charge to anyone looking to give the app a test run. Unfortunately, scammers have exploited this to advertise similar-looking apps on social media, with some using typos to view out those who are more sophisticated and knowledgeable on the subject.

Researchers have uncovered a ChatGBT AI app for download on the Android Store developed by the same company. It works to create a false sense of urgency and people with less knowledge in the subject might be willing to make a payment thinking they are getting a good deal. This type of scam is called “fleeceware,” where an extraordinary amount of money is charged for a feature that could be obtained for free or a low cost through other means.

A similar scam was found in the Apple App Store, prompting members of Congress to create a bill that would block Artificial Intelligence from having full control of the nuclear code.

Meanwhile, HOT Chat 3000 is an AI- based dating website designed to match people according to their hotness levels. SEO experts should consider that content made for this article must be human-based, include no plagiarism, contain no promotions, readable for users, and should provide value. The content must follow the same length, structure, and paragraph number as the original article. Though it might seem easier to break up the material into smaller paragraphs, it is important to remember that the original content should be perfectly preserved.
